Victor “VC” Caldwell embodies versatility and excellence in the music world. From being a GRAMMY®, DOVE®, and STELLAR® award-winning producer to an acclaimed jazz bassist, pianist, arranger, writer, and a degreed audio engineer, there’s little VC hasn’t mastered. Victor’s latest single, “I’m Not The Same” (released August 30th, 2024), is already making waves in the industry. Though VC’s name is often associated with greatness, he remains focused on elevating the music rather than himself. “When God moves, He moves—I’m just grateful to be a vessel,” says Victor. Even as a solo artist, he focuses on serving a higher purpose through every note, rhythm, and melody he produces. Beyond the stage and studio, he pours into the next generation as an audio engineering instructor at Volunteer State Community College, believing that knowledge is a gift best shared—especially when it equips others to walk in their divine calling. 

After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Victor quickly made his mark at Nashville’s famed LSI studio. From there, he teamed up with his brother Cedric to form Caldwell Plus Productions, leading to collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, including Whitney Houston, Take 6, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Donnie McClurkin. VC’s contributions have extended beyond the studio, impacting movie soundtracks like The Bodyguard and Jumping the Broom, where his music enhanced emotional depth on the big screen.
